The Genealogy Federation of Long Island announces their Second Annual Seminar, Family Roots II: Where to Begin, How to Continue & Share. The seminar will be held at Stony Brook University, Student Activities Center in Stony Brook, Long Island, New York on Saturday, April 8, 2006 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The program will feature speakers on a variety of topics including research of specific ethnic groups, organization, genealogical software and records research. Participants will have the opportunity to customize their experience by selecting from a menu of presentations.
The cost for the seminar is $45.00 for early registration and must be postmarked by March 24, 2006. Late registrants and walk-ins will pay $55.00.
