The Burlington Public Library Foundation is sponsoring its fourth annual Genealogy Workshop on Saturday, April 8 from 9 a.m. -3:30 p.m. at the Memorial Auditorium at 200 Front St. in Burlington. This year’s speaker will be Sandra Hargreaves Luebking.
Sandra will present four lectures: “More Land, John,” “A Taxing Situation,” “Trials and Tribulations,” and “Name That Source.” Her presentations include hands-on experiences and even prizes.

“Knowledgeable, versatile, humorous, and organized” is how audiences at over 1,000 national lectures have described Sandra Hargreaves Luebking. Sandra was co-editor of The Source: A Guide to Genealogical Research, Revised Edition (1997) and The Archives: A Guide to the National Archives Field Branches (1998). She is the editor of FORUM, the nationally known magazine for genealogists and historians published by the Federation of Genealogical Societies. She has taught hundreds of researcher since 1979 at the Samford Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, Birmingham, Alabama. Since 1994, she has been intermediate studies coordinator for the Genealogical Institute of Mid-America, a week-long program held each July at University of Illinois at Springfield.
