The Board for Certification of Genealogists proudly announces three new certified genealogists.
Priscilla Eaton, CG, of Rochester, New York. Eaton received an AB from Dartmouth College and an MA from Stanford University. She has published over a dozen articles in publications including The Maine Genealogist, The American Genealogist, The Essex Genealogist, The New Hampshire Genealogical Record, and the York County Genealogical Society Journal.
LaDonna Pittman Garner, CG, of Bloomsdale, Missouri. Garner is a Registered Veterinary Technician who received an AS degree from Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Missouri. She has attended local and national genealogy conferences, the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, and completed the National Genealogical Society's American Genealogy course. Garner serves on the board of the Jefferson County Genealogical Society and is co-founder and secretary of the Mt. Zion Cemetery Board. She hopes to write a book on the cemetery and its preservation efforts. Garner has presented several lectures and genealogy workshops. For further information see http://www.leafseeker.com/.
Terry Moore, CG, of Raleigh, North Carolina. Moore, a professional genealogist, operates Terry Moore Genealogical Services. She holds a bachelor of health science degree from the University of Kentucky. Moore has completed home study genealogy courses through Brigham Young University and attended regional and national conferences and institutes including the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, the National Institute on Genealogical Research, and the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy. She is past editor of two genealogy newsletters. Moore volunteers at the Family History Center in Raleigh, lectures, and teaches genealogy classes for North Carolina State's Encore program.
