The following is an announcement from the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG):
The Board for Certification of Genealogists is pleased to welcome the following newly certified genealogists.
Andrea Gale-Kelly, CG, of Altamont, New York. Andrea is a histotechnologist who earned a BS (Biology) and HT and HTL (American Society of Clinical Pathologists). She is a member of the Orange County Genealogical Society, the Capital District Genealogy Society and the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society.
David E. Rencher, AG, CG, FUGA, of Riverton, Utah. Rencher, Director of the Records and Information, Family and Church History Department, earned a BA in Family and Local History from Brigham Young University. He has been a course coordinator and instructor at the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, an instructor at the Utah Genealogical Association Institute, and a lecturer at both NGS and FGS national conferences. Rencher holds or has held offices in the Genealogical Society of Utah, the Federation of Genealogical Societies, GENTECH, Inc., and the Utah Genealogical Association. He has served on many advisory and editorial boards and authored numerous articles and reviews. Rencher has conducted personal and client research for the past 30 years.
