Rose’s family and burial place. It was important to Vaccaro to locate his friend Jack Rose and to finally put his memory to rest. With the help of Eric Head of the Knox County Archives, he learned that the fallen soldier was buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Knox County and had a brother, Bob, still living. While in Knoxville for the lecture, Mr. Vaccaro will visit with the family and place flowers on Rose’s grave.
