Cheryl Messenger Cantrell Named as Certified Genealogist

The Board for Certification of Genealogists is pleased to welcome the following Certified Genealogist.

Cheryl Messenger Cantrell, CG, of Manchester, Missouri. Sherry is a faculty member with the University of Phoenix-St. Louis. She teaches writing and presentation skills, research and documentation, critical thinking, and technology and workplace communication. Sherry is retired from a telecommunications career. She received a BS from Purdue and a MA from Webster University.

Sherry has attended local and national conferences, and completed genealogy courses locally and online. She presents genealogy workshops at St. Louis Community College on topics including Internet genealogy, migration routes, immigration and naturalization, and census, city directory and newspaper research.
